Comparison between GPR and four electromagnetic methods for stone characterization: an example
Résumé
Multimethod prospection at shallow depth emphasizes capabilities of detection through the different sensitivity of each method. A comparison between four ‘integrative’ methods (electrical/ electromagnetic) and one ‘quasi‐punctual’ method (GPR) is performed to analyse individual efficiency with various physical or geometrical parameters.
The chosen site is located at ‘Le Gué Goujard’ (Nièvre), known to exhibit shallow archeological features at depths rather equivalent to limestone geological settings. The different methods involved allow to distinction between them.
