Analyzing Interoperability in a Non‐functional Requirements Ecosystem to Support Crisis Management Response
Résumé
This chapter analyzes the interoperability not only in an isolated manner but also as a part of a complex non‐functional requirements “ecosystem”. In other words, “‐ilities” are non‐functional requirements to be reached and that provide a “special” capacity to a system to support the achievement of its mission. Numerous ‐ilities are identified in the literature, such as robustness, resilience, reliability and interoperability. In the frame of crisis management, the work developed in [BIL 15] focuses on ‐ilities relationships and attempts to highlight the link between interoperability and its impact on the performance of a collaborative system that engages means to solve a crisis. The three components defining the nature of the link between interoperability and ‐ilities must be implemented that means the influence, the direction and the intensity between interoperability and ‐ilities must be identified. The chapter provides and discusses the problem statement and expected outcomes.
