The outbreak of the new coronavirus (COVID-19), which began in China, in December 2019, invites us to reflect on important topics, some of which are indirectly covered in the articles of this edition. COVID-19, a virus outbreak that is still ongoing (as of this writing) and has been destabilizing different world contexts. There is an urgent need to seek new ways of doing things and there is an increased importance to execute the practice of adaptability.
