Adjustable autonomy in swarms of UAVs

Résumé

Current UAV systems employ several human operators to control a single vehicle endowed with almost no decisional autonomy. As the next generation of systems will comprise several vehicles operating together, it appears that a change in the control ratio is needed alongside an increased decisional autonomy for the UAVs.
