Victimization surveys on university campuses: a spatial comparison
Résumé
Based on victimization surveys conducted on the university campuses of the city of Marseille, this article reveals the nature of the facts of delinquency and incivility as perceived by users, showing that they differ according to the urban location of these particular educational spaces. The results of the survey make it possible to highlight the prevalence of victimisation and the profile of victims, but also to give a measure of the feeling of insecurity in an institution that welcomes a significant proportion of young people. This presentation proposes to fill a scientific gap in knowledge of the student world at a time when the issues of securing these public places are the subject of much debate.
