Accuracy study and validation techniques for fast beam-based monostatic scattering computations
Résumé
A Gaussian beam shooting algorithm based on Ga-bor frame decomposition is proposed for fast monostatic scattering computations in large multipath environments. Formulation and specific features of the method are outlined. Complexity and accuracy of the algorithm are discussed and illustrated by numerical results. A validation strategy based on 2D-to-3D conversion is explored, due to the large electrical size of the problems to be solved with this method.
