Parabole avec source primaire décentrée en structure compacte pour radar à 76 GHZ
Résumé
The design of a Parabolic offset reflector with pyramidal feed horn working at 76 GHz and based upon an original use of foam technology is presented. Such a structure using monopulse radar system is designed to detect obstacles in front of a car. This type of antenna constitutes the first step to validate the technology before starting the reflector profile optimization procedure to meet the requirements in terms of field of view and radiation pattern. The results show good performances concerning the directivity. It is finally shown that compactness and, potentially, low-cost technology is feasible for such antenna system, thus meeting the requirement for mass production.
