Leveraging creativity techniques in requirements elicitation : a literature review
Résumé
In recent years, Creativity-based Approaches for Requirements Elicitation (CAREs) have appeared as one promising trend to tackle the requirements elicitation problem. Creativity-based approaches have been the subject of important proposals of practitioners and researchers. CAREs foster the collaboration of stakeholders and requirements engineers in order to create innovative ideas for new systems. Known requirement elicitation techniques, like brainstorming, workshops, and scenarios, have been traditionally used in these approaches; nonetheless, a large set of new techniques have emerged recently, e.g., viewpoints combination, analogical reasoning, and walkthroughs among others. The goal of this paper is to review creativity techniques for requirements elicitation, synthesize available knowledge and discuss their pros and cons.
