Résumé

Report of Symposium Ethical, Legal and Political issues of Computing (ELPIC) that was organised during World Humanities Conference held in Liège, Belgium, from 6 to 11 August 2017, organized by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) and the International Council for Philosophy and Human Sciences (CIPSH). Goal of the conference was to establish a new agenda for the humanities of the 21st century. This reports details some observations and gives recommendations for rethinking the humanities of the 21st century, taking up the challenges posed by the ubiquity of computing in our lives and in society.
