Strength Analysis of the Main Structural Component in Ship-to-Shore Cranes Under Dynamic Load
Résumé
After a period of operation, the mechanical properties of ship-to-shore (STS) cranes can change. It is necessary to analyze the strength of the main structural component in STS cranes under dynamic load to assess their safety. This case study was conducted on a 28-ton capacity STS crane. A testing system with signal sensing, conditioning, acquiring, and analysis was established. After on-site testing, all of the stresses of the test positions were calculated and determined to be in the allowable range. As a result of this paper, a systematic approach to analyze the strength of the main structural component in STS cranes under dynamic load is proposed.
