Macrolid Antibiotics
Antibiotiques Macrolides
Résumé
Avermectins are a group of extremely potent anthelmintic macrolide antibiotics. Structure-activity studies have shown the importance of the disaccharidic sub-structure attached to the macrolide ring. Fluorine atoms are added by hemi-synthesis at the key C2" position in order to strengthen the glycosidic link between the two oleandroses sugar units. This work presents the synthetic pathway used to perform this chemical modification and the structural analysis of the fluorinated compounds.
