Impact of an IR-UWB Reading Approach on Chipless RFID Tag
Résumé
An unusual configuration for chipless radio frequency identification (RFID) reader based on impulse radio ultra-wideband (IR-UWB) is proposed. The impact of this approach on chipless tag reading performance, compared to frequency modulated continuous-wave (FMCW) techniques is studied. By reducing the inner sampling clock jitter of the proposed reader, it is possible to have resolution comparable to the one obtained with laboratory equipment.
