Acid-Catalyzed Rearrangement of Epoxides
Résumé
This chapter summarizes recent advances in the development of acid-catalyzed rearrangements of epoxides and highlights the wide variety of acids used, such as Brønsted acids, Lewis acids derived from the main group, transition metals, and other metals including lanthanides as well as solid Brønsted and Lewis acids. Special attention is paid to selective key step reactions leading to intermediates of drugs and fine chemicals.
