User's behavior and dynamic network loading
Résumé
In this work, we propose to revisit some route choice frameworks and investigate how different kinds of user's behavior influences the network performance in terms of level of congestion and travel times. We also analyze the differences between the individual route flows. For this, we consider time-dependent route costs that account for congestion and spillback effects. Traffic dynamics is reproduced by a LWR mesoscopic simulator (Leclercq and Becarie, 2012) and the case study is a Manhattan network.
