Ultramicroelectrodes: migrational effects on the limiting currents of electroactive species involving electrochemical reactions with two successive steps

Résumé

Migrational effects obsd. on the limiting currents of electrochem. reactions with 2 successive steps at an ultramicroelectrode are interpreted for I, iodide, bromide, N,N,N',N'-tetramethyl-1,4-phenylenediamine (TMPPD) and tetracyanoquinodimethane (TCNQ) systems, starting from simple models. The exaltation of the migrational current by neutral or charged species must be considered in the interpretation of voltammograms and in the measurements of amperometric concn.
