Engagement and empowering communities
Résumé
This project was lead into the frame of a course called “Climate Change Leadership in practice” which aimed to bring about fifteen students to drive practical projects to generate a change against Climate Change. I personally selected an area of action related to empowerment of communities through the initiation of grassroot movement as a first step toward participatory practices. I initiated three projects aiming to gather people for a cause through climate bike/marches and a fundraising party. I analyse in this report how my communication strategies and my vision of leadership brought me to make a progress in the achievement of these three project and what I could improve for future other project especially when they will give birth to larger scale participatory practices as I aim to create participatory workshops on Sustainability. My reflection also focuses on this last project idea.
