Variations sur un peigne
Résumé
Philippe Martin designed the Spectral Comb method for the measurement of the speech fundamental frequency in the late 70's, for the purpose of his prosodic researches. We present some theoretical considerations showing that any F 0 measuring system has to deal with specific types of errors, and we explain how thoses errors have been contained in Martin's Spectral Comb. We also present a new development of the same technique, using several variant families-the missing teeth combs and the negative teeth combs-in order to specifically cancel the main types of F 0 errors.
