Proposition of a guide for investigating, modeling and analyzing system operating modes: OMAG

Résumé

This paper presents and illustrates one of key elements of an approach aiming to complement the tools recommended by the methodological principles and processes of Systems Engineering. This approach allows complex system de-signers exploring and reasoning, arguing and then checking the consistency of the operating modes of a system in order to facilitate the construction of its functional architecture. It is therefore here to help facilitate the search and selection of these modes, each mode configurations and operational scenarios are finally allowed in each mode and configuration. It thus becomes possible to challenge all or part of the requirements repository by associating each requirement in turn modes, settings and scenarios. This approach is based on a guide called GEMOS and verification method by properties proof.
