EMR-Based Signal-HIL Testing of an Electric Vehicle Control

Résumé

Efficient control and energy management are essential for new clean and environmentally friendly vehicles. Nevertheless, such controls require skills in various scientific fields (power electronics, electric machines, automatic control, mechanical engineering, etc.). Organization tools, such as Energetic Macroscopic Representation (EMR), have therefore been developed to improve the control of complex systems. In this paper, the control of an Electric Vehicle (EV) is deduced using the EMR. The validation of the control is carried out using a real-time Signal Hardware-In- the-Loop (S-HIL) simulation using Typhoon HIL devices. An EMR library for the Typhoon HIL simulation tool has been developed for this purpose.
