In this paper we present a method of management of the unilateral contact, for multi-domains and multi-timescales calculations in explicit dynamic. The interest of the method, based on a modeling of contact by penalty and a representation of the « master-slave » type, is to uncouple each domain as much as possible: it can thus evolve with its own time step of stability. The algorithm proposed ensures kinematic continuity throughout the interface by exchanging a minimum of information between the domains. We present an example showing the validity and the effectiveness of the method compared to the traditional mono-domain approach.
