A distributed test case dependencies architecture : application to the SIP protocol
Résumé
Conformance testing of distributed systems has become an issue of interest over the years. Effective testing architectures and solutions have been designed and implemented but the correlation of the local verdicts provided by the test of these entities is still challenging, especially when the system under test is distributed. This paper addresses ongoing experiments with a new proposed test case dependencies architecture. Four use cases from the the Session Initiation Protocol (IETF RFC3261 - SIP) extended services (RFC 5359) were implemented on an industrial testbed. We focus on the SIP active testing while we continue producing conformance tests in a black box environment. Experimental results have been successfully obtained and discussed
