3D textile reinforced composites: From manufacturing process to structural design

Résumé

Design of structural parts made of 3D textile reinforced materials demands deep understanding of different physical phenomena that must be accounted at the separate steps from manufacturing to exploitation. Complete process relies on numerical methods to resolve multi-scale material modeling and includes quantification of various manufacturing effects with advanced experimental techniques.
