Maximum Torque to Current control of a Synchronous Reluctance Machine by including cross-magnetisation.

Résumé

This paper investigates the effect of cross-magnetisation on Maximum Torque to Current control of a Synchronous Reluctance Machine. A new model of the machine based on Park's equations and including saturation effects is first developed. From this saturated model, a new maximum torque to current condition is obtained. Several experimental results are then presented to verify the accuracy of the theoretical analysis.
