Fenomeni di riformulazione nell’interazione: apprendenti immigrati dell’italiano L2 e parlanti nativi dell’italiano L1 a confronto
Résumé
The study focuses on semi-spontaneous interactive texts between immigrant learners of Italian L2 and Italian native speakers (area of Naples). All learners have a high or almost native interlanguage competence of Italian. The purpose of the work is that of investigating the nature of the self reformulations the learners produce in asymmetrical interactions with a native speaker for the light that they can shed on the dimensions of language, textuality and context. The questions we shall try to answer are the following:
– Do the learners exploit the same self-regulation strategies as the natives?
– How do they manage these strategies in an asymmetrical interaction?
– Can the type of L1 and the past attendance of Italian language courses play any role?
– Has the linguistic competence in L2 any influence?
We shall demonstrate that, despite the advanced or even almost native level of the learners, they often focus on “low level” operations (grammatical level) rather than on “high level” operations (pragmatic and textual levels), revealing by that their non-native use of the L2..
