Transient kinetics for methane pathways identification over Fischer-Tropsch catalysts

Résumé

The Fischer-Tropsch synthesis converts synthesis gas to liquid fuels and chemicals. This reaction was investigated over nickel and cobalt catalyst by SSITKA experiments. A detailed microkinetic model was constructed comprising two pathways for the formation of methane. Especially, the direct and hydrogen-assisted CO dissociation routes are addressed
