Low frequency piezoelectric bimorph cantilever for heart beat vibration energy scavenging

Résumé

In this paper we present the finite elements simulations of a piezoelectric bimorph cantilever operating at low frequency (30Hz). Performances in terms of displacement and output power are detailed under static and dynamic acceleration. First characterizations of the device are compared to simulations and the results are discussed. The structure measures 4mm width for a total length of 23mm.
