Nutrient transfer modelling from the watersheds to the gulf of Morbihan coastal waters (France)
Résumé
The contamination of coastal waters due to land-based sources remains usually difficult to assess accurately using punctual and intermittent monitoring. In this context, watershed modelling approaches appear to be a complementary and relevant method. Through the example of a study site located in western France, SWAT model has been implemented over a six-year period in order to continuously quantify land-based nutrient discharges and to determine their origins.
