GNSS-based high precision indoor positioning: methods and challenges

Résumé

This paper gives an overview of the current methods and challenges on GNSS-based high precision indoor positioning. It summarizes several representative approaches developed by the research groups all over the world, focusing on the high precision achieved. Principal limiting factors of theaccuracy indoors are also discussed. Pseudolite-based technologies and GNSS/INS hybrid systems are considered to be promising, with centimeter-level precision already reached in experiments under certain conditions
