Multiband GNSS receiver design simulation and experimental characterization

Résumé

The nonlinearity is an important factor that limit the improvement of the overall performance of a GNSS receiver. In order to prove the subsampling GNSS receiver performance for a weak desired system, a simple method is to characterize the derivation in nonlinearity and to quantify the impact on the wanted signal. This method estimates the compression point at 1 dB and the third intercept point. This paper presents a reconfigurable subsampling GNSS receiver setup based on the subsampling architecture. The proposed setup aims to validate the linear behavior of the system within a wide dynamic range through nonlinear ity tests. The simulation results are carried out on the Keysight ADS software. The obtained performances were conforming to the experimental measurement. Simulation and experimental results are provided that and good agreement with theory
