WER A SAGT, MUSS AUCH B SAGEN!?
Summary: It is noteworthy that all too many scholars still tend to neglect the confusing ambiguity that Kierkegaard has introduced into his writings by using pseudonyms and fictive editors. Rather than coping with this difficulty, one opts for unequivocal interpretations. Thus, a text-immanent interpretation of Kierkegaard's Either/Or that takes into account aspects of its literary composition and in particular the narration's ironic tone, makes strikingly evident that ambiguity is intentionally generated with the aim to leave room for a subjective appropriation of the text by its reader.
