A Meta-Model to Acquire Relevant Knowledge for Interactive Learning Environments Personalization
Abstract
Outsourced personalization of Interactive Learning Environments (ILE) requires knowledge on these ILEs: their teaching description (type of activities, parameters for exercises generation...) and their technical description (files location, content of configuration files...). To make possible to support this personalization, we propose a meta-model to acquire, in interaction with an expert, relevant knowledge necessary to personalize an ILE. We combine this meta-model with two processes: the first one uses the meta-model in order to create a specific model to an ILE, and the second uses this model to personalize the ILE.
