HAUP : L’hyperambiotope urbain participatif. Une interface de composition du paysage sonore pour une nouvelle médiation des territoires
Abstract
As an immersive and interactive device, HAUP allows to reconstruct soundscapes within a panoramic view. To achieve this goal, users can act on the components of the sound environment via a touchpad. Through considering that sound verbalization remains very depleted compared to the visual one, HAUP works as a kind of "non-verbal questionnaire" applied to city soundscapes, thus proposing people to build their daily sound environments, so as their imagined ones.
