ASPRO : a toy demo

Abstract

ASPRO is a Quasi-Delay-Insensitive (QDI) 16-bit asynchronous RISC microprocessor designed with CMOS standard-cell (O.25 µm technology, STMicroelectronics). ASPRO has been developed for embedded applications. It can be customized both at the hardware and software levels to firt specific application requirements. It is a scalar processor which issues instructions in-order and completes their execution out-of-order. The performance of ASPRO is 140 peak MIPS, o.5 Watt, at 2.5 Volts.
