Object identification for ubiquitous networking
Résumé
We explain the concept of ubiquitous networking including object to object communications and specify naming and addressing issues for object identification. In order to use Host Identity Protocol (HIP) for connecting objects in ubiquitous networking environment, we propose the extensions of HIP according to mapping relationships between host and objects. In addition, we provide packet formats and considerations for HIP extensions concerning objects. Our proposal can be used for location management, networked-ID services, etc.
