Eurofuge 2016, 3rd European Conference on Physical Modelling in Geotechnics
Résumé
The 3rd European Conference on Physical Modelling in Geotechnics (Eurofuge 2016) was organized by the French Institute of Science and Technology for Transport, development and Networks (Ifsttar) on behalf of the Technical Committee TC104 “Physical Modelling in Geotechnics” of the International Society for Soil Mechnics and Geotechnical Engineering (ISSMGE), and of the French Geotechnical Society (CFMS). This conference is in the continuity of a recent cycle of regional conferences initiated in London 2008 and pursued in Delft 2012. As a quadrienal European Conference, it focuses on the latest researches and technical developpments in the European physical modelling community. These proceedings include 2 keynote lectures and 56 peer-reviewed contribution from 20 countries. They are organized in 5 themes presenting back to basics (similitude law, preparation techniques, particle size effect etc.), and the latest developments in physical modelling Facilities. Several aspects of Natural hazards are also coverd such as dynamic soil properties, liquefaction, soil structure interaction for shallow and deep foundations, retaining wall. A theme is devoted to the researches in Renewable energies context, and the last theme concerned different types of infrastructure such as tunnels, offshore foundation, quay way, earth dam, buried pipeline, embankment etc. (4e de couverture)
