Eco-Design & Circular Economy of Heavy-Duty & Off-Road (HDOR) Vehicles
Résumé
Based on extensive industrial investigations (regarding HDOR Vehicles features, regulations, sustainable issues, and emerging technologies) and on scientific gaps identified through literature review, the following research question emerged: “How to optimize the sustainable management of a fleet of HDOR throughout all life cycle, at different scales and for all stakeholders thanks to the help of the IoT & Telematics?” The purpose of the research work is then to develop relevant industrial design frameworks and methods to support industrial and policy strategic decisions concerning the life cycle of heavy vehicles at different scales (i.e. currently on construction (Design); on the market (Use); under maintenance (Reuse); & End-of-Life). This quite important research question is divided into complementary deliverables (WP): WP#1 = Key Components (KC) Selection and Sustainability/Circular Indicators ; WP#2 = Case study on one Key Component ; WP#3 = Develop systematic strategies for choosing preferred EoL pathway of HDOR ; WP#4 = Get & (intelligently) Use Data during the Use Phase; WP#5 = Decision Support in Business Model Evolution for HDOR Companies.
