Real-Time Acoustic Velocity Measurement in the Air by Means of Laser Doppler Velocimetry
Résumé
A technique based on the use of an analog phase-locked loop and a quadrature demodulation to estimate particle velocity and convection velocity in an acoustic field in the air excited with a sine wave forced source is presented This method turns to be well suitable for real-time measurement of acoustic signals with low modulation level. A SIMULINK(R) program has been written in order to validate the method. Finally, the performance of the estimator is illustrated by Monte-Carlo simulations obtained from synthesized Doppler signals
