Résumé

In France, an increasing number of homeless people are immigrants. Since the late 1990s in the Paris region, some homeless immigrantfamilies with children have been looked after by a care and temporary accommodation system in motels. This article focuses on the development and functioning of a public policy that brings the management of migratory flows and the world of social emergency closer together.
