Structure of 2-[(Phenyl)-(3,5-Dimethyl-Pyrazol-1-yl)-Methyl]-Malonic Acid Diethyl Ester.

Résumé

The new functionalized ligand di-Et 2-[(phenyl)(3,5-dimethylpyrazol-1-yl)methyl]malonate (1) is prepd. in good yield through condensation of 3,5-dimethylpyrazole, with di-Et 2-(benzylidene)malonate. The structure of 1 was detd. by spectral (IR, 1H and 13C NMR), elemental analyses and x-ray diffraction data. 1 Crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P21/a, with a = 7.9253(2), b = 17.1299(5), c 13.4522(4) Å, β 90.220(2)°, V = 1,826.25(9) Å3, Z = 4 and with Rint = 0.021. The mol. conformation shows 2 possible pockets ready to coordinate 2 metal atoms. The crystal structure of 1 is stabilized by intermol. C-H***O and C-H***N H bonding. [on SciFinder(R)]
