Design and validation of a generic LTE tablet for SAR assessment studies
Résumé
In this paper, a generic numerical LTE tablet is designed and validated to cover both Wi-Fi 2400/5000 and LTE 800/2600 frequency bands. The provided model is representative of a commercial tablet and will be used for the numerical assessment of the exposure to radiofrequency (RF) electromagnetic fields (EMF). To validate the model, the antennas design and their performances are described and discussed based on the simulation results achieved using the Finite-Difference-Time-Domain (FDTD) code. This paper examines also the effect of the tablet position and the operating frequency on the SAR distribution.
