Tspclass : A novel data clustering approach by artificial ants

Résumé

For many examples of social insect metaphor for solving problems, several algorithms have highlighted the efficiency of approaches inspired from the nature. In particular a variety of algorithms inspired from the swarm intelligence observed from the ants' behaviors and data clustering is also one of those problems in which real ants can suggest very interesting heuristics for computer sciences. This paper claims a new swarm based behavior used for supervised clustering problem. Our proposed algorithm uses the foraging behavior of ant colonies to build groups of similar objects.
