Γ-convergence of anisotropic vectorial functionals adapted to detection of thin tubes

Résumé

We introduce an anisotropic energy functional adapted for the detection of thin tubes in 2-D or 3-D images. This function depends on a pair $(p,c)$ where $p$ is a binary function and $c$ is a unitary vector field. We perform an approximation of this functional and prove that this approximation takes place in the sense of the $\Gamma$-convergence.
