Coupled oscillator array generating circular polarization
Résumé
In this work, a four-element oscillator array using linearly polarized elements is designed to generate circular polarization. The oscillators are coupled in a loop arrangement with unidirectional coupling. The analysis of this new arrangement is developed and confirmed by circular polarization radiation pattern measurements showing a wide axial ratio beamwidth both in principal and diagonal planes.
