Jahrhundert
Résumé
It is well known that Lili Marleen was adapted into many languages. One often doesn't know on the other hand that "Just a gigolo" or "Forever and ever" were songs adapted from a German popular song. This study shows that the first song always orientates adaptations, but also why certain songs make forget the original songs they are adapted from.
