Linking the residential satisfaction to landscape metrics: a tool for urban planning?

Résumé

This paper examines the links between residential satisfaction of periurban households and landscape structure of their spatial neighbourhood. Satisfaction of people was measured using a survey while landscape composition was quantified from remotely sensed data. Results are simulated in order to identify areas of satisfaction.
