Scenarios for Lifelong Learning.
Résumé
This report focuses on the didactic and semiotic dimensions of ubiquitous learning (u-learning). It emphasizes the importance of narrative frameworks in understanding, designing, and adapting learning situations, extending beyond formal educational contexts to encompass informal and everyday scenarios. The report introduces and elaborates narrative schemas for learning, detailing cognitive strategies like resource identification, appropriation, and evaluation. An in-depth analysis highlights how digital resources, particularly audiovisual archives such as the French AAR (Archives Audiovisuelles de la Recherche) initiative, can be systematically re-authored for educational purposes. The concept of a "semiotic atelier" is introduced, referring to processes and technological environments that facilitate the adaptation of digital resources into pedagogically relevant materials. The report further illustrates these concepts through concrete examples, including the specialized software environment "Interview" developed by ESCoM, which supports systematic re-authoring tasks like content translation, semantic indexing, and narrative structuring. Finally, the report discusses a specific practical scenario: the "Huarpe Memory Project," demonstrating the application of narrative semiotics and digital re-authoring to preserve indigenous cultural heritage.
