Continuous mesh adaptation models for CFD

Résumé

Continuous mesh adaptation models can be derived from a priori estimates. For a class of approximations, these estimates are expressed in terms of interpolation errors. We show it for P1-Galerkin-based schemes useful in Computational Fluid Dynamics. Applications with meshed adapted to steady Euler compressible supersonic flow are presented.
