The Fe3+:Sapphire Whispering Gallery Modes Maser Oscillator
Résumé
The Fe3+:Al2O3Whispering Gallery Mode MaserOscillator is presented in this paper. Preliminary results alreadyshow a frequency stability of about10−14for integration timesup to 30 s. A model combining the rate equations and theelectromagnetic field in the sapphire is presented. Paramagneticproperties and maser sensitivity to external parameters have beenconducted to verify the validity of our model.
