Amélioration de la portance aérodynamique d'un profil

Active control by using fluidic actuators has been applied to NACA0015 profile in order to improve the aerodynamic performance at high angle of attack. By using numerical simulations to solve mean Navier-Stokes equations and closure model equations with viscosity concept, effects of steady and unsteady fluidic actuators have been studied. Actuators based on continuous jets, pulsed jets or synthetic jets have been applied. Important improvement has been obtained (up 50%). Parametrical studies have been conducted to obtain parameters providing best performance improvements.
