A Multivariable Centralized Controller Design Methodology for a Steer-by-Wire System
Résumé
This paper presents a multivariable centralized control law for a Steer-by-Wire system. The controller is designed by solving an H2 problem leaning on a model-matching approach. A particular steering column model is used to define the expected performances for the Steer-by-Wire system. A driver-vehicle model is used to evaluate the behaviour of the steering system (through the H2 criterion) in a realistic way . This make the approach proposed original and the resulting Steer-by-Wire system robust.
